The MAKE TIME SKATE COLLECTIVE (MTSC), working with Bideford Town Council and funded by Sport England, have become a regular fixture on Wednesday nights at the Bideford Pannier Market.
Supporting the local skateboard community, the group offers a free-to-access, guaranteed indoor space each week. This is a vital initiative to help the community thrive and grow across the winter months, when both lack of lighting and bad weather severely restrict usage of the Bideford skate park.
Launched in October ’24, MTSC meet every Wednesday, with free coaching from 5:30 – 6:30pm and a range of ramps, rails and ledges for those starting out to the experienced. At almost 100 members and new sign ups each week, the group is going from strength to strength with a broad age range from 8 years old to 50+, all with a shared passion for skateboarding.
