Bideford Town Council’s Town Rangers have been undertaking chemical free weeding in Clovelly Road this week, using the newly purchased automated hydraulic weeding machine.
This fabulous piece of equipment enables the Town Rangers to undertake and complete street cleansing weeding jobs around the Town, within minutes where previously this would have taken days by hand using traditional tools, freeing up the Town Rangers time to address even more areas around our beautiful Town.
A Town Ranger follows behind the weeder, once it has completed its run, using a carbon free blower, endorsed on by the Decarbonisation Committee as part of their Net Zero plan, to collect excess debris.
