Bideford Town Council have elected their Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the 2024 – 2025 term.
Councillor Rachel Clarke said “It is a great pleasure to be voted as Town Mayor and humbling. My plan is to work hard for the Bideford Community”. She will be supported by daughter Louise Clarke, who will be Mayoress.
Deputy Mayor for the year is Councillor Peter Lawrence who will be supported by his wife Lynda, who will be Deputy Mayoress.
Mayor Rachel has chosen two local charities for her term; TTVS and Transilience.
